Audio-Technica - AT8024

The new AT8024 is a mono / stereo microphone for camera mounting, designed to provide high quality audio to DSLR video users, in a simple and very easy to use format. It is a short-barrel type microphone, powered by a single AA-type battery, and which is connected to the camera by means of an unbalanced 3.5 mm TRS jack. In its design, the challenges presented by high quality audio recording in fast recording situations have been taken into account. It has also been equipped with a low cut filter to reduce low frequency vibrations and an attenuator with selection between -10 dB and -20 dB to avoid overloading the audio input of the camera. Its switching capability between mono and stereo further expands the microphone's flexibility. The AT8024 integrates a cushioned support and a foam wind filter.
