It has been designed to allow greater projection in the highest register of the instrument with good balance and mixing with the bass strings. Designed for professionals, it stays firm under high arc pressure, and provides a strong tone, for solos, without being too bright. Kaplan Solutions Viola Strings are cut for long scale violas (16-16 ½ 'body length) with a playable length of 380mm. Strong tension strings have great projection and volume while soft tension strings have a more comfortable bow response. Medium tension strings are optimized for most performers.
