The Lerxst Limelight is a signature guitar created in collaboration with iconic rock guitarist Alex Lifeson, based on Lifeson's iconic Strat guitar from the 1980s, which became synonymous with Alex's sounds and style. The Lerxst Limelight has been created through the synergy of Godin luthiers' craftsmanship along with modern hardware selected by Alex - to create a high-quality, thoroughly modern and refined instrument for today's guitarist. The Lerxst Limelight features a contoured swamp ash body, a 12" radius Hard Rock maple neck, an ebony fingerboard, and stainless steel middle frets for fast, intuitive playing. Just like the Strat guitar modified from Alex's original, this one has an HSS pickup configuration for more versatility, with pickups custom wound by Mojotone to Alex's specifications to ensure balance across all pickup positions, and monstrous tone. Guitarists can choose from the classic Floyd Rose tremolo system or a Vega Trem with 18:1 locking tuners that provides superior tremolo precision and absolute tuning stability.
