OVERDRIVE PEDAL New version of the Color Box with more EQ controls, Hi/Lo switch, Phantom power, 100% clean signal for acoustic guitars and silent switches. Inspired by Neve tables and a tribute to how a piece can change music. Many recordings have been made by plugging the guitar directly into an analog console and this pedal recreates those tones, although it works equally well with acoustics, microphones, keyboards or basses. 100% analog, its design is based on the Neve circuitry schematics and has absolutely NOTHING digital. It has 2 cascading stages that add the character and color of an authentic vintage console. From a clean sound to a thick fuzz rich in harmonics and with a gain capable of reaching 39dB. The Lundhal transformer fattens the bass, It adds harmonic complexity and richness to the mids and softens the highs. It also offers electrical insulation and blocks radio frequencies for silent operation. The Gain section, in red, is a Pre-Volume setting so it determines the amount of signal that reaches the second gain stage, acting like the Gain of a conventional overdrive pedal, a Master Gain setting for volume, and a Step setting. Gain to change the gain of each preamp stage in 5 levels, from left to right the gain will be raised by 18dB, 23dB, 28dB, 33dB or 39dB. The EQ section, in blue, is of the Baxandall type but heavily modified to cut or boost frequencies. The center frequencies are 10kHz for Treble treble, 1kHz for Middle and 120 Hz for bass, with a control of +/- 17dB. The filter section, in yellow, is activated by its own selector and has a range from 60Hz to 800Hz, with a curve of 6dB per octave. The inputs and outputs come in jack and XLR, so you can use it as a preamp for vocals, bass, acoustic guitar or keyboard. They are independent and can be used simultaneously. 48V Phantom Power.
