This pedal has two buttons on its side ''Tone'' and ''Mode''. With the ''Tone'' you activate a medium cut that flattens the attack and makes it more submissive. Interpret it as a pre-set EQ control. The ''Mode'' button, with which you activate the ''JHS Mode'' and which will pronounce the octaves in the effect, will compress the midranges and you will have more Volume/Boost.
