High-Tide ukes are made from exotic tropical hardwoods with the soundhole framed by an abalone rosette. The "High Tide" series is Luna's main line of Ukuleles. This beautiful series of ukuleles is inspired by the full moon at the first fret, which causes the wavy abalone fret markers beneath it to "rise" as we move up the fretboard toward the pull of the moon. This beautiful Luna ukulele features a deep koa body, producing a full, deep sound along with concert body size. The cutaway offers comfort when accessing the upper register frets, and the mahogany neck, bridge and walnut fingerboard add long-lasting sustain and clarity to your tone. Open-style tuners keep the instrument in precise tune and the built-in preamp provides easy amplification that can be easily adjusted.
