SURDO 'Surdo 22' 'X 18``, in wood. The Surdo Bahía Meinl SUB22AB-M is a wooden surdo, with dimensions of 22 '' x 18 '', 10 adjustment screws and comes with a tuning key. This surdo is shorter than its Rio counterpart, and is generally mounted much lower in a belt or mounted in a multi Surdo configuration. Bahia surdos are made for playing Samba-Reggae with a solid wood six-layer helmet.
