SURDO 'Surdo 18' 'X 16' ', in wood. The Surdo Bahía Meinl SUB18AB-M is a wooden surdo, with dimensions of 18``x16 '', 10 adjusting screws and comes with a tuning key. This surdo is shorter than its Rio counterpart, and is generally mounted much lower in a belt or mounted in a multi Surdo configuration. Bahia surdos are made for playing Samba-Reggae with a solid wood six-layer helmet.
