This means you can lower the decibels while practicing without losing the bouncy feel. Work on rudiments, dial-up techniques, or just cut without disturbing anyone around you. The solid, modern composite base is padded on the bottom so you can play the pad on any surface. The Meinl Marshmallow Pad is equipped with an 8mm threaded insert for mounting on a cymbal stand.
