EFFECT PEDAL PRS's Transparent Horsemeat Overdrive is a circuit designed from the ground up to enhance guitar tone without coloring it. Using germanium diodes, the Horsemeat delivers a deep sound without sounding nasal or overly sharp, with great harmonic richness by boosting both low and high frequencies while providing increased dynamics. Depending on the setup, the Horsemeat can be used as a clean boost, directly as an overdrive, or even enhance an amp's distortion by slightly tightening the amp's preamp section.
