SMALL MEMBRANE CONDENSER MICROPHONE The sE7 is a high-quality, small-diaphragm condenser microphone designed for a wide range of studio applications and live sound, from acoustic guitars to pianos and timpani to drums. With an optimized acoustic design, a discrete Class A circuit and transformerless output, it offers clear and natural sound quality at all frequencies, without suffering from diffuse treble or lack of low-frequency punch. Discrete electronics and switchable attenuation knob ensure a high dynamic range, with high sound pressure level (SPL) handling capability and extremely low noise components. The switchable bass cut filter helps eliminate hum or footstep noise, and can also compensate for excess bass frequencies caused by the proximity effect. This allows the sE7 to accommodate the pickup of many instruments, including electric guitar speaker boxes, brass instruments, and drums of all kinds.
