6-STRING BASS Schecter short scale bass model Hellcat VI, from the Retro series in Ivory Pearl finish (ref: 294). Schecter's new Hellcat VI is an inspiring, game-changing tool for the adventurous musician, regardless of musical genre. The Hellcat VI's strings are tuned like a guitar, but in the same octave as a bass, allowing the player to explore sonic options not possible on regular guitars or basses. Its 30-inch scale length bolt-on maple neck is reinforced with carbon fiber rods for foolproof stability, and topped with a Pau Ferro fingerboard and silky-smooth 22 frets. Its comfortably contoured swamp ash body provides a classic appearance and a sound that is thick in the low end and bright in the high end, creating a perfectly balanced tonal foundation.
