STEEL TONGUE DRUMS 'The Meinl Sonic Energy 10'' Mid Octave Steel Tongue Drum is made of high quality stainless steel. Its eight octave notes deliver the tones in two octaves. This creates a wonderful, meditative sound similar to the tone of a handpan. A mouth located at the bottom of the drum can be sealed with a silicone plug to provide an even more compact sound. Three silicone feet on the bottom prevent the drum from slipping. The mid-octave steel tongue drum can be played with fingers or mallets. Getting Started To play, simply place it on a flat surface or on your lap. The drum comes with two wooden mallets with softly wrapped rubber heads and a nice carrying bag with zipper and handle.
